Empowerment Headquarters is a nonprofit 501(C) (3) community development corporation that has been in existence since 2015. Our mission is to educate and empower children and adults to reach their maximum potential in their life, family, and work through Youth, Workforce, and Leadership Development.
Our goals are to:
Provide youth program opportunities to enable physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development of youth ages 3 to 17 years old.
Provide Workforce Development to empower individuals to be successful in life and work through job training and support.
To enhance effectiveness in life, family, and work through leadership development is provided to support individuals in reaching their maximum potential.
We believe that education and job training are tools you can use to make a positive change in the life of any individual when you assist them in developing the necessary skills to produce products and services that other people place a measurement of exchange value upon. This is the environment that activates the creation of economic empowerment to grow our economy and thereby creating and maintaining positive change in our local communities in which we live, grow our families, and work in meaningful careers.
EHCDC partners with federal and state agencies, the faith community, corporations, other agencies from both public and private sectors, as well as the local citizens working together in partnership achieving positive change in the lives of individuals and families that need it the most in our local communities.
